Jaskirat Singh Nagra – Co-Founder & CEO – an engineer by training, he left his flourishing corporate career to found an off-road focused auto company named Infinia Greentech in 2017. In the last five years, his creations have gotten podiums at some of the toughest off-road races in India, including the Rainforest Challenge, Royal Rajasthan Rally and the JK Tyres Dambuk Offroad Race. Jaskirat has a BE from Indore University and an MBA from Lancaster University, UK.
Vivek Gujral – Co-Founder & Board Member – has a background in engineering as well, and has come to Gecko Motors by way of his enthusiasm for off-road racing. Vivek has a BA in Mathematics & Computer Science from Swarthmore College, USA as well as an MBA from the European Institute of Business Management (INSEAD) France.
Chow Soupha Ujjal Namshum – Customer Success Officer – is a tea-planter by profession and an off-roader by passion. He has won podiums at virtually every extreme off-road race in India, and has joined the company as our test-driver and customer advocate. Ujjal has a BBA from Suffolk University, USA.
HISTORY
Ujjal and Vivek first knew Jaskirat as customers for three years, and raced in cars built by Infinia Greentech. In late 2020 the trio decided to create a company to create standardized off-road platforms as opposed to building one-off vehicles. The idea was to take our collective experience in extreme off-roading, and create vehicle platforms in India.
Early in 2021, Jaskirat’s existing assets, Infinia Greentech, Iron Scorpion HMV and Sarbloh Motors were folded into Gecko Motor Company .
